If you’ve still got a few question marks floating around, the FAQs below are a good place to start.
If your question didn’t make the list, send it through.
We love a curious mind just as much as we love helping things make sense.
If you've been lying awake wondering, is this normal? Should I be worried? Something just doesn't feel right, those thoughts are usually worth exploring. Common reasons families come to us include difficulties with handwriting, sensory sensitivities, emotional regulation, delayed milestones, attention, coordination, and social situations that feel harder for them than for other kids. You don't need to have it all figured out before you call, that's why we're here.
That's exactly what we're here to help figure out. Get in touch and we'll talk through your concerns and get to know your child. An assessment is usually the first step, and it gives us the foundation to recommend the right support.
If your child has had an OT assessment within the last 12 months, send it through and we'll review it. If the approach aligns with how we work, we can move straight into sessions. Otherwise, we'll start with an assessment so we know exactly how to help.
Of course you can. If you're not sure whether Spring for Kids is the right fit, reach out and we'll have a conversation. No pressure, no commitment, just a chance to talk through what's going on and what support might look like.
Wherever makes most sense for your child. We're mobile, so we come to you. School, home, the pool or playground, or our Asoke location (subject to availability). Sensory Swim happens in the pool. Sensory Fitness happens in the gym. We'll sort the logistics together.
Home-based sessions are typically offered during school hours or after school, depending on your child's needs and therapist availability. Weekend appointments are available on request.
We work closely with teachers to schedule sessions around the school day, either before school, or during a period timed so your child doesn't miss key subjects. If school-day sessions don't suit, we can also see your child at home after school or on weekends, subject to availability.
Most children are seen once a week, though the right frequency depends on your child, their needs, and where we're at in the process. We'll discuss frequency, locations and all the nitty gritty details in our consultation.
It all depends on the child and the team around the child (including you). Some make significant progress in a term. Others benefit from longer. We review goals every term and we'll always be up front with you about where things are at and what we think comes next. We're not in the business of keeping children in therapy longer than they need to be.
Yes, and we love it when we can. Some of the best outcomes happen when home and school are working from the same playbook. We can observe in the classroom, communicate directly with teachers, and give staff strategies that actually translate into the school day. School meetings are available at an additional cost.
We'll need to touch base with your child's school first to make sure it's possible (it usually is). When you enquire, let us know which school your child attends and we'll take it from there.
Absolutely. We're used to working as part of a bigger support team, and we're good at it. School-based OT is its own niche, and it happens to be ours, too. If your child already has a home-based OT, leave the school side to us.
We're a well-oiled machine when it comes to slotting in alongside other therapists, so tell us who else is involved and we'll take it from there.
Sarah only wishes. (She really did try. ขอโทษ.) But our team includes Thai-speaking therapists who can communicate and document in both languages. Whatever your family or school needs, we can make it work.
Yes, we can support both. We provide invoices and receipts for insurance claims, which you can submit directly to your insurer for reimbursement. We can also arrange payment directly through schools or company-funded education allowances, where permitted within your agreement.
It's worth checking with your provider or school before your first session.
We ask for reasonable notice, and the full details get shared at the start of our time together. We know life with kids is wildly unpredictable, and we'll always try to accommodate changes within reason.
