- Nia + Risdi

All you want is for your child to feel capable, confident and happy.

To get through the school day without feeling overwhelmed.
To join in, keep up, and feel like they belong.
To feel comfortable in their body, confident in what they can do, and more settled in class.

And that’s exactly what we’re here to support.

A clear, flexible pathway, tailored to your child

how it works

1. Getting to know your child through assessment

Some days start with assessing reflexes. Other days it’s joining your child at school, in the playground, the pool or gym.

2. Goal setting

Clear, meaningful goals that matter at home, at school, or both.

3. Therapy

Child-led sessions built around your goals, with session summaries, recommendations, and email support provided after each session.

4. Review and progress

Each term we review progress, update goals, and talk honestly about what's next.

“I first joined Sarah’s sessions looking for reassurance, but gained so much more. She made child development feel clear, practical and manageable, while helping me feel confident in how to support my child.”

How do I know if my child needs an OT?

If you've been lying awake wondering is this normal? Should I be worried? Something just doesn't feel right, those thoughts are usually worth exploring. Common reasons families come to us: difficulties with handwriting, sensory sensitivities, emotional regulation, delayed milestones, attention, coordination, and the kind of social situations that feel harder for them than for other kids. You don't need to have it all figured out before you call, that’s why we’re here.

When do home-based sessions take place? Do you offer weekends?

Home-based sessions are typically offered during school hours or after school, depending on your child's needs and therapist availability. Weekend appointments are available on request.

Can you work with our child’s school?

Yes, and we love it when we can. Some of the best outcomes happen when home and school are working from the same playbook. We can observe in the classroom, communicate directly with teachers, and give staff strategies that actually translate into the school day. School meetings are available at an additional cost.

How often will my child be seen?

Most children are seen once a week, though the right frequency depends on your child, their needs, and where we're at in the process. We'll discuss frequency, locations and all the nitty gritty details in our consultation.
